Dictionary Girl

Author's Blog

I'm really excited to introduce Darcy this week. I've been chomping at the bit to bring her into the story. Basically, the ball can start rolling now and the plot ideas I have can come to fruition.

Growth on the facebook page has slowed down, but I think the initial influx might be because I invited everyone I know. We're still working on some back end things for the site, so when it gets rolling smoothly, I think I will be able to encourage more of a readership. Especially when we get a forum up to allow interaction.

So I bought dictionarygirl.net this week from godaddy.com. Several days after the order went through they called me. I was half paranoid that they were calling to tell me my site sucked and they didn't want to be associated with me. Or that they hated my credit card. But no, this friendly CSR chatted me up for a few, gave me a few promotional offers, thanked me for my purchase, and checked out the site. When some random person in a call center somewhere is complimenting your site, you can't help but feel cheery. Very cheery.

I'm really excited for the upcoming pages.

And you don't get to know what they are.

Ha! Ha ha ha. Ha ha.
